6.6L 1999 WS.6???
Friday, March 03, 2006 7:54 PM
Yup...running right. Finally.

Idle is set at 1150 RPM's. WAY too high. When I get a chance...I will drop it to about 1000 RPM's.

Please ignore night vision.
Tomorrow will have MUCH better footage. Although still no rubber carnage. Gotta break it in right first.

Got to try to make the stock rear last this season.
Looking for about 500 RWHP with it...time will tell though.

Sounds sweet man. I can't wait to get a good set of headers and a cam in my car. Its only a 5.7 and if it sounds half as good as yours does i'll cream myself.

I don't like it. It's too loud. My ears hurt. You need a rice exhaust and some stickers. You think a 6.6L is going to get you anywhere? Psssfhthfhtht

Took her for a decent drive today. Actually took her to work.

Everything seems great, except for the clutch. A little off, probably needs bleed a little better.

Not much different than the earlier clip...but taken on a friends camera.
http://media.putfile.com/Mr-Lous-TSP-Giant

Also...got 15.5 MPG with her today with pretty hard driving.
Once the clutch issue is worked out and the weather improves after this upcoming storm, I will get footage of it going WOT to about 4500 RPM's.

Idle...WOT to 4500 or so RPM's...WOT in car to about 4500...
http://home.comcast.net/~mrluos/fourthclip.wmv

Need to make sure the clutch is in order...then just drive it.
Feels nice to drive it though, but I won't be driving it much more until I get the clutch worked out. No sense in damaging something over something minor. Plus...the weather is going to complete poop for about a week.
