My friend just got one of these and it is sweet! I was just wondering how it is on performance. I haven't gotten to ride in it yet. How does it compare to a stock ecotec?

I have never heard of anRSX Type XS....I have seen and driven the Type S though.
The Type S is rated at 201HP/140TQ.....I like them! They are faster than a stock ecotec.
I'm pretty sure you mean Type-S. They're pretty sweet cars that respond well to mods. There's no way in hell that a stock eco could keep up with one assuming the drivers are good. There are people running 14's stock.
smooth driving car, no question, a bit pricey IMO, but not a total waste of money either. definitely nicer in every way then a J

I have two friends with type s' and i drove their car. I must say i-Vtec is addicting and the type s is quick. They have the injen cold air intake, when you hit vtec you will be histerical.
Awesome cars for the money.
Best manaul in its class if not one the best around. Steering is spot on. Performance is very impresive. Styling-I love it.

The only thing the SS/RL and SRT4 can touch the RSX in is performance...and not everyone is performance oriented.

Totally agree. and with the intake on, when the VTEC kicks in the sound totally changes. Awesome car
