So i bought a 1990 2 seat Fairlady Z twinturbo, T-tops, all power options, aftermarket exhaust, 94,760kms. It arrivies in April. I am quite pumped.
The 2003 Cav I have is gonna serve as my daily driver....and winter car.

Yup, samething as a 300zx TT ... except they are right hand drive. I doubt ill ever go for 900RWHP
... I was thinking intake, exhaust and ECU. Which brings it to 400 Horsepower. More then enough for me
What are the import rules in the USA? In Canada, the car has to be 15 years old to the month of production ... and it is fair game to bring in.

It cost me $6350 CAN ats the final price tag.... everything is included for that price tag, brought to my city in edmonton. All i gotta do is pay for out of town (country in this case
) inspection.
I got it real cheap since the clear coat is peeling....so it isnt to pretty. Nothing a 1800 CAN dollar paint job cant fix

nice pick up, my friend had a 94. It was quick, but a pos until he replaced a s**tload of parts, but it gave him no problems after that. In other words, take care of her and she will take care of you!

yup thats my car... you can see the paint is faded.... some clearcoat is starting to peel. It needs a paint job
So, what happens if you buy it, and the engine blows 2 days later? Are you SOL?

YUP SOL. It had a mechanic inspection done before i purchased it. Thats all i got to work with. If the engine is blown.... a complete engine rebuild kit is 3800 bucks US. So that would be the route I would have to take. Considering the cheapest 5-speed 300zx TT in my province goes for $18,000 CAN .... I was willing to take the chance to save 12 grand
with a 12 grand difference....I could rebuild the motor better then stock and then some hehe
But yah.... i bought the car without ever driving it....seeing it....touching it...
its a gamble...

Yah.... i am doing the big 60K timing belt maitence kit when it gets here....and replaceing ALL FLUIDS....sparkplugs.....and fuel injectors
