Hey everyone.
I used to be a pretty active member on the boards here a few years ago. I had a 96 Sunny GT and spent some time with the JBO FL clan.
Funny thing is, my old account under
Bleakgt was deleted or something, so I had to sign up with a new name.
Anyway.....2 cars later I now am the proud mommy of my 2002 Stratus R/T.
Mods so far:
AEM CAI
Deyeme Racing Mounts (front and back)
Suspension Techiques 22 mm rear sway bar
Eibach Prokit
KYB GR-2 shocks/struts
This is probably about as far as I go with this car.
Other than adding boost it is a pretty well tuned N/A car from the factory. I have seen people sink thousands into headers,exhaust, etc. and maybe shave .02 seconds off of the quarter.
Well, it is great to be back on here. I will always admire JBO, as my Sunfire was what got me into this scene, and I have alot of respect for how far this platform has gone in the past 5 years or so.

Yeah, I like to consider her a Mitsubishi Eclipse in Disguise.
i was considering a stratrus RT before i got my Z24, but i kinda felt like they would be limited in aftermarket. Still sharp looking cars indeed.

what does a RT run in the 1/4 any idea??? i got a friend with a black one and it feels decently quick just wondering if you had an idea on it.

Whaa? Dude, just about every single lowered member on 3g Eclipse and the 2g Stratus sites used either one of three applications, and no problems reported from anyone.........

They have pretty decent torque, especially coupled with a MT.
In the 1/4, not too impressive, only because they weigh a ton.
I have seen a Stock Strat R/T anywhere from the low 16's, down to a low 15, depends on the driver, conditions, blah blah.....
It's good enough for me. Nice comfortable ride, loaded with every option, and it goes decent when I get on it.
