General Motors' product czar Robert Lutz doesn't want car clinics to dilute the Chevrolet Camaro concept's styling if the vehicle gets the OK for production.
"There will be no clinics," he told employees at GM's tech center in Warren, Mich., a few days before the concept car's Jan. 10 unveiling at the Detroit auto show. One source said designers gave a collective sign of relief, since car clinics often have been blamed for watering down the styling of GM's vehicles as they morphed from concepts to production vehicles.

It's still not too retro, they could have done better but GM has done worse (current monte carlo).
Hopefuly it will sell and get GM back in the game, if not I smell chapter 11.
I don't think the new Camaro will help GM that much...IMO. I am a big Camaro fan, but I would take and rebuild a 67-69, buy a Mustang, or Challenger before I would buy the new Camaro.
Cool. But I agreee it needs work in the looks dept.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
Roughed In wrote:^ But remember all the guys in their "mid-life crisis" too tho. They'll be buying these Camaro's like hot cakes to look young and cool again
Hell, just today I saw an old woman (looked to be 60's+) driving a 00-02 T/A!!

was a a WS6 ??
i know i have seen several older 50's early 60's looking women driving SS camaros , and a SS vert here
as long as GM doesnt stick sting ray to it , if they do
you will see me in the news , cause ill hunt down lutz , and kick him in the balls , tell he gets the name changed back to camaro
it's kinda growing on me....id consider buying one
i think if the car is in the right price range it's gonna sell like hell
I didn't get a great look at it b/c it was going the opposite direction. I think it was just a regular T/A tho, not a WS6.
