now before anybody thinks that im a retard i kno chevy didnt make an Iroc in 91, however dodge and chrysler did. The Daytona Iroc.. lol.. anyways this is the car im thinking about fixing up, i got this car when i was 15 & 1/2 so it was my first car. i've kept this car for some reason even tho i had people offer to buy it, i've had a turbo supra, a turbo talon and of course my Z24 but i've always liked my Daytona, i guess cuz its pretty rare and not many people have them. the only thing is the car was very unreliable since day 1, anyways i'm asking you guys do u think i should fix it up? it needs body work, few rust spots here and there plus a nice dent in the drive 1/4 that i did when it left me stranded in -40 weather, tires their bald and flat now, prolly brakes i know 1 of the calipers is seized, interior work my dad ripped the car apart and didnt put it back together to get the amp kit out of it, it needs a sensor for the transmission cuz it wont shift outta first, and it needs an engine the car runs but leaks oil, coolent, tranny fluid and power steering fluid, so it will need to ither be rebuilt or replaced.. anyways onto the pics letme know what u guys think i should do, money is slow rite now but i can pull it into my garage(not the same one as in the pics we've got a nice oversized 2 car garage now) and do most of the body work myself... and yes the front end is in primer from when i slid into a fence... sorry to rant on haha but there is 7 pictures. also just an FYI the car is fully loaded A/C, CC, Tilt, PW, PDL, PM, P.Driver Seat w/ power Lumbar, 4 wheel disc brakes, overhead console(never worked tho), etc. It was also white but me and my friend did all the body work and painted it ourselfs in highschool autobody.

let me ask you something .... is it the DOHC 2.5 turbo motor ? cuz if it is .. they're rare .... but stupid quick ..... if it is the turbo ... fix it ... if it's the V6 scrap it ..... I used to have a turbo dodge and they're trouble ... but bloody fast ... it's kinda a sick circle ...... drive it ... fix it .... drive it..... fix it ..... but boy are they fun

forgot to mention its the V6, it was pretty quick but i bet the Z could dust it... and i hear u about driving it and fixing it, i've never seen such a horrible car in terms of reliabilty. speed isnt an issue for me i'm not into it so the V6 is a fine motor for me, very torquey which is what i like... i dunno the more i look at it the more i wanna bring it back to the condition i had it in, i wouldnt use it for daily driving ither so even if it did break down it's not gonna matter.. but then again my z isnt a daily driver so it might not be the most practical choice, we'll see how this new job goes for me suppose to be making about 1400 a month which is alot better then the zero i'm making now haha.. anyways thnks for the comments...

Wow... I have a '93 Daytona Iroc. The 3.0 is alright (140hp...) but the auto tranny's go out alot. Me and my dad need to drop another tranny into mine and then he's going to drive it til he gets his car fixed. Then it's getting sold.
My advice is to get rid of it. There are better cars to fix up. But it's all up to you really. I love the looks of mine it's just too much hell.

hold on to it. the body looks like its in good shape (no visible rust). save up some $ and someday swap the tranny and or engine. interior work is relatively easy if you find the parts. it could be a fun project car.
