I've got a freind of mine with a 05 Cobalt SS he say's that it'll do 135mph?.?. I've never been in it with him to find out for myself nor seen him race it either. Just curious...anybody know what they top out at??
not sure, but i think its actually in the 140 range.
the supercharged cobalt is limited by drag coefficient to 143 mph, although some claim they have hit the 150 mph mark.
Get on a long track and find out.
they are unlimited for the ss/sc , and the others all very in speed
I would think it tops out at 140 mph since that's the same speed that the Redline tops out if I'm not mistaking.

146mph is the highest I've seen personally. There is a guy that has video of his SS hitting 148 somewhere on Cobaltss.net.

A customer of mine swears he had his bury the speedo going down rt. 301 when you just cross into VA and your on that bridge that goes way up and then back down. Well supposedly he burried it comeing down from bridge in VA. I wasn't there so I can't say either way.

I can tell you I've had my SS to 134mph on the parkway. It had felt like it gone much further to, but that was enough for me that nite.

I've been up to 155 but backed off cause the mud and snow tires i have on are only rated to 130. Didn't want to chance a blow out by holding a high speed for too long. Also i'm not stock. If I had enough room I think i could hit 160. Better not be a windy day though.

Why yes you do. Nice times you have there. I would say if you can hit that time more than once or avg a 14.6 you would be able to beat over 85 percent of the stock cobalt ss/sc owners through a quarter mile no prob. Most of the guys over there dyno race anyway and think cause they put down 210 whp that there guarenteed a low 14 sec time slip. Than they go to the track bust off back to back 15's all day and realize they can't drive there car worth a damn.
I think with both stage 1 & 2 together, You'll be able 150mph-160mph
160 MPH speedometer, bone stock is between 143 - 147.
That's what I have seen in person and heard from all the testers i have spoken to.
My friends' has hit 147-148ish
That's pretty quick for a little car... my GTO will only go 160 because of fuel cut-off.... I've only had it up to 140 cause I'm afraid of going to jail haha.

Smart man. I get to 140 easy so thats what I stop at but after that the 5th gear over drive gear sucks balls and it takes to much highway for me to keep seeing what I top out at.

I'd say if your up to 140, then just keep going to 160. Your going to be going to jail I bet for going 140, so why not do 160.
