I shaved my buddys hatch, Heres his post on the vwvortex with all the pics. I think it came out pretty good. I did everything except he welded in the patch where his emblem is looks pretty good i think.

Yea I was like WTF to my friend. But Qbe is right I get alot of complements on my car and its pretty much stock... But Im happy with the hatch since it was my first completed project start to finish....

^^ nope, just learn very quickly to fix things yourself, and don't expect any help from your dealer if you modify it..... Although I will go as far to say as so far most of the J's i hang with have proven to have less issues than my VW has (that weren't performance related).
