That's Ortega Highway....that road is no joke. He's VERY VERY lucky to have lived.

Totals the Viper, if he had 1/2 a brain he has insurance, , walks away completely unharmed, and probably got a ride home in a Ferrari. Ya I'd say he got lucky.

I'm sorry, but that seems like lack of driving ability. While I myself have never driven a Viper, I could say locking up the brakes was about the dumbest choice you could make on a corner like that. He basically put the car in an uncontrollable skid, while had he let off, turned, while giving a hint of acceleration he most likely could have saved it, while maybe brushing the guard-rail.

Try to explain to your insurance company how your $80,000 car flew off and down the side of a cliff where many speed zone, slow, and Dangerous curve signs are posted . . .
