got an engine question for you guys. what is a rocker arm? whats its purpose? and can you fix them?

a rocker arm is the medium between the camshaft/watever the camshaft is pushing and the either intake or exhaust vavles.


u can really fix one if its broke youd need new ones.

if thats ur only problem most people could fix it. but if it snapped in the open the position and the pistion has hit the vavle your talkin ripping the head off the fix the valve.

mkiii supras are non-interferance engines so no piston hitting the valve.

ok.. thanks guys...

anyone know of a website that can tell me how to fix this? maybe a manual someone has typed up or anything?
