can u put a st 4 head on a 96 neon block ? if so what is needed?

I don't think that you can, I've heard of people putting the 2.4L head on the old Turbo 2.2s and 2.5s, but not on the 420A from the Neon. check Allpar, Dodgetalk, Dodge forum, or do a search for Dodge Daytona or Turbo Dodge forums on Google and ask on one of those forums they will know a lot more then we will.

The physical size of the engine isn't really that big of a deal if the blocks are the same, I can put 6.1L Hemi heads on my 5.7L Hemi, and plan on doing it if I can ever find some 6.1L heads, and numerous 2nd gen guys have used 3100 or 3400 heads on their 2.8 and 3.1L V-6s.

I think the 2.4 is a DOHC, and unless your 96 is a DOHC, I don't think it would work/be cost effective but I could be wrong. Check out Neons.org, you should find all the info you need.

the 1st gen neons sohc and dohc have the same block but im not sure if the 2.4 head will fit on the 2.0, just do the entire srt4 swap for about $2000 and run 12's
