It's obviously a made up graph form some muscle car meathead forum to make fun of ricers, judging from the F&F references in it. It's actually funny if it weren't that there is no way import sales notr popularity have not dropped off that significantly in just 2 years at all.

Change the graph title to "ricer trend" and I'll agree.

Blatant rice is dyeing and that includes all types of cars, hell mustangs and cavys are some of the worse offenders I see. The commutter car w/ tails, kit, muffler, and lights is only perpetuated by some highschoolers these days and I see alot less of it. Its like stage for a 15-17 year old guys..

Fast modified imports are more popular then ever and are never going anywhere.

If anything, the import "scene" is just getting bigger, not smaller just based on their invasion of the standard car shows that used to be exclusively muscle cars and hot rods. Also, what qualifies as an import these days anyways? PT Cruisers are made in Mexico and BMW's made in the Carolines. The whole import/domestic issue is getting convoluted due to Globalization anyways, so eventually it will no longer matter where the car is made as it will probably have a dozen sources for parts around the globe.

I dont think its neccisarilly where they are manufactured but where they are designed is what designates it an import/domestic
