Where do you buy these things? I've looked all over online and have yet to find ONE place that sells 14 or 15 inch tall and 8" to 9" wide deep dish wheels to use on FWD drag racing cars. I see them all the time on cars, but never for sale. Are they custom or what?
I'd stick with 15", there is hardly any drag tires in our size that fit a 14".
There are tons of them however that fit 15"
Just food for thought.
www.mrt-wheels.com They will make you any size, bolt pattern, and back spacing you want. Check out my stockcar in the Classifieds. Ray
Thanks! That was lots of help.
Weld Racing makes a 5x100BP 8in front wheel and a 4in rear wheel
They cost a bit but they are SFI certified and ready to go.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Did you have to modify your calipers to fit those 13's ??
nope, they custom cut the rims to your spacing
Diamond Racing 13X8 rims 5" backspace. They were custom made and shipped to my door for 300 CAD for the pair. Tires are MH Racemaster 25X8.7X13 ET DRAG
They aren't as light as the aluminum wheels, but half the price. The tire rin combo is 32#'s.
I HIGHLY recommend Diamond Wheel, very nice guys and FAST service / shipping.
