i am just wondering what the time would be for my 98 cav 2 door coupe in a 1/4 mile
the only mods would be cai, short throw shifter, lighter flywheel, and stiffer motor/tranny mounts?
so any estiments would be nice

No need to get a new cam, just do the 1.6:1 roller rocker conversion. It will give you a decent increse in lift, and will be 100 times easier to install.

you could possible break into the 15s with that i ran a 16.1 with cat back exhaust and cold air intake you just have to know the car good and no the good points to shift

You put new roller rockers in your engine. The are what controls the lift along with the cam in an ohv engine. We can use the same ones as the sbc! The stock ones are 1.5:1 or 1.54:1 depending on if you have a 95-97 (1.5) or 98+ (1.54). The ratio is multiplied by the cam lobe lift to give you the actual valve lift. Having a 2200 you have the 1.54:1 rocker arms. This mod would give you a 2.5% increse in lift over both the intake and exhaust.

All the info you need!
Any more questions?
