I ran my cavy yesterday and the best I could get out of it was 14.1 at 101mph , other then that I ran 14.3 at around the 100mph mark all day, couldnt hook for crap, 2.2-2.4 60ft times, I think its time for a set of slicks, and a little cooler weather for the blower wouldn't hurt either, lol. I am happy with it tho, other then the launch the car pulls great, just got to get some sticky tires to get some grip off the line.
Heres the 14.1 run, kind of slept at the light, lol
a .214 RT aint bad. but i seen people have over a second RT. so dont feel bad
but slicks would help you out a lot
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
A set of slicks and you'll have a 13sec car.

Yeah I for sure need a set of slicks, it drives me nuts not being able to launch out of the hole.
myself I think I'd just opt for drag radials...not quite so extreme on your drivetrain...more likely to break stuff
Unless you're runnin low 13's-mid 12's I see no need for slicks
100mph+ traps FTW!

Wrong. The difference between drag radials and slicks on my car n/a was two tenths in the 60ft. Wheel hop generally kills axles... and I still spin with slicks.

Wow, if your registry is up to date those are pretty fantastic times.
