Hey guys, just wondering who you all think the "Quick 8" will be at the bash.
I'm hoping daflynskwirl gets in it.
I'm sure that TVR will be there, as well as Ben Wenzel Jr. Possibly even SMG's lil eco rocket.

If weather permits, and going off the numbers Ben was running this past weekend at a local event he should be running some nice low numbers.......
I'm not there. Couldn't justify the trip this year since I just started a new job.

I agree with Karo though. Going off the times Ben ran earlier this week, the 12 barrier could be knocked down soon. I don't think in Ohio but he'll be getting damn close.

Did I miss something about ben going faster than 13.6?
13.6 is alot different than 12.9... and with his stated power levels and weight, he's gonna need another 40hp... which on an N/A car is harder than hell... he's only 50hp up on stock levels.

it wont be as fast as last weekend. 87 % humidity now. plus the track is like 1,400 feet above sea level.

im guessing nobody... im not sure if they got a chance to race or not. and even if they did, it might be people you dont expect because 1) not many people went t his year 2) some of the ones who did go (including me) left early today b/c of the track situation and 3) there are staged SS cobalts there that arent on JBO that are pretty quick, so you cant only base it on J's.
Speedracer Z won the all out class against, the final was Speedracer vs. a 3800 supercharged. Brian pulled a 12.789 @112 at on point during the day.
N/A class came down to Wenzel and PJ, wenzel was having issues so PJ took him, wenzel was the only all motor 13's this weekend with a 13.9X if I remember right.
The quick 8 was very very weak especially N/A class, I think the slowest n/a car ran an 18 or somethign and that was 6th place hahah, there wasn't 8 that even turned in time slips to get considered.
That figures. Get a good track and better location for 2008 and I bet you get a lot more people with HiPo cars.
