If things go according to plan, I should be in another cav with a proper gearbox in 2-3 months. The auto KILLS my times.
I guess this is kind of a thread jack.
I have been toying with the idea of racing my z24. Now that I have a new car, the z just sits there. I think that this would be a great hobby for me as I love racing. I used to race motocross, 80 and 125 when I was younger. I have been to a few solo II events here in Dallas. Besides the solo II regional website, where can I go to get some more information on road racing? Do cavaliers even compete? My father owns a fabrication shop, so I would have all the resources to build the car. Rules, requirements, locations (near Dallas) are the things that I need help finding, and as a racer yourself, I’m sure you know where to start looking.
Thanks
Shane is participating in the NASA series. I would suggest you read everything on
NASA's Website. I wouldn't expect a Z24 to be very competitive since it has such a big weight disadvantage compared to the Japanese cars.
