My boss has been buggin me to heard to the track with him. He wants to race my stang against his turbo civic. I think I'll win that, since he has a 90 civic and the turbo looks SO homemade.

We are also going to race the winter cars. He's been making jokes about my cavy. He has a 2000 civic dx hatch, 5 spd, no air, no vtec. I have a 2200 auto (4 speed) with shift kit, cai, and upper/lower mounts (soon to be installed). His civic is bone stock. I'd like to beat him with both cars, but just wondered what you all though might come out from the race.

i read the specs of your stang, and you should beat him easily in the 1/4 mile. and it doesnt matter if his turbo "looks" homemade, it could still be putting out over 75 hp.

but your stang should beat it.

as for the civic vs your 4 door cavvy....well his civic will hand you your ass. power to weight ratio. same amount of power, but his is a 5 spd and is a hatch.
