I've been a member of the site for quite some time but i really just started using it in the last week or so, and i figured i would post up what i've got and see if i can get some suggestions or

Personally i would say.. paint handles and mirrors, sideskirts, '00-'02 lss front lip and rear lip
It needs side skirts for sure. Get rid of those rear badges as well. Good clean start, keep it that way

I've looked into skirts for it in the past, something i've had some difficulty finding. I've checked junkyards but an LS is difficult to find around here to begin with. There's a yellow LS i've seen around, just need to wait for it to come up for sale
The rear badges are something i keep postponing on removing, or forgetting to. The front one's gone but my motivation for removing that is the little blue insert on it blew off on the highway lol.

As for the wings west lip kit, i've only really considered the front one, i wasn't a big fan of the side skirts and the rear lip. I think i'd prefer the LS/Z24 side skirt and rear lip.

swap the rear drums for neon discs, LSS kit would look nice, but not needed (Have no body kit on mine). Great looking car, those rims really work well with that car.
I didn't realize the rear discs could off a neon could work with these cars, wouldn't you have to do some modification to the rear "axle" to mount the calipers?
On the lip kit note, one of the only things that really drive me away from one, is i use this car as a daily driver 365 days a year. Winter driving is already a task with it lowered. I misread the tire size on 2 winters for the front i got at the junkyard last weekend so the front's going to be even lower, i'll be surprised if i come out of this season with a front bumper, at least a whole one lol.
Thanks for the rim comment, i've always found they complimented the car well personally. I just searched the bolt pattern on kijiji the first winter i had the car due i figured that's when people would sell for cheapest. They were painted black when i bought them but by some cheap black spray paint so i had them, i believe sandblasted, then powder coated for about $150.

and yes the neon rears need modification to work. do some reading in the suspension faqs and stickies.
Neons brakes are easy. You just need the proper tools and a machinist. Not something I would suggest to a parking lot warrior. Mine are going on this winter. Probably around X-Mas.
see i would do the rear brake swap, but only for show. otherwise i have no need for rear discs to be perfectly honest. with the list of mods i want for my car i'll never be moving fast enough to justify swapping. alot of work for no reason in my case. and i have much better things to spend my money on for the car. i'm all for being safe i just can't see it being necessary for my car.
Apparently the curse of the rear J-Body brakes hasnt gotten you yet. The rear disks wont really stop you any faster in reality because its a 70/30 front to rear braking effort split. In the end it really just for show.

the rear disc swap looks awesome when its done and what Sundown said about 70/30 braking power is true, not a whole lot of benefit aside from looks. Drum brakes just suck, IMO, pain in the ass to change and overall a dated technology that I think they should just phase out completely. Also, they have a tendency to lock up in the rain, dunno if thats just me but it happened a lot with my '01. I still have my rear drums in my '04, though I'm going to paint the drums black because they rust like hell, at least they do in NY, This is probably one of my biggest gripes with the Cavalier, 4 wheel disc should have been an option, as well as 4 wheel independent suspension, but any Cavalier looks better than any generation of non-SRT-4 Neon.

i would have LOVED to own a yellow one, but i got gold...lol. rims look amazing on it.
i say keep the drums and calipers yellow, i like the contrast with the black rims.

A lot of tips, but thank you for your compliments. And ya it's got an intake, an exhaust, and it's lowered 1.6" on B&M springs.

Ok, i know that curse way too well. My driveway is a bit of a hill, on a wet day my rear wheels lock up and drag at the end of my driveway, and every other stop for that matter.

but in complete honesty, i've driven my car year round for a long time now and never had an issue stopping in rain, snow, ice whatever. i just don't see the big deal honestly, i fully understand that disc brakes are superior but so much of a hassle for............nothing basically.
I just want rid of the bastards because Im tired of squeaking through stops and having my back end squat when I stop. Its not a stopping problem persay. That seems worth the hassle to me. Plus my wheels show a lot of brake. The drums just arent doing it for me anymore.
