Hi there, i currently own a 2007 cobalt SS 2.4 but my younger sister is looking at a low mileage 1998 cavalier Z24 auto. Now one question i had is what octane fuel is recommended for this car by the manufacture. She's about to grad highschool and this is her first car so we are hoping these only need 87 octance but if it needs 89 then so be it. Just want to be sure we use the right fuel instead of cheaping out and hurting something later on.

just regular you dont need premium if she will be running stock
look in the manual. but just regular is needed

It doesn't call for anything other then Reg i have a 97 z24.
