hello,my car is a 98 cavalier,2.2 auto-car idles rough after idling about 30 sec.,rev it up a few seconds idles good again for a few seconds.car still runs good,plenty of power,good mpg.here's my attempts to fix problem-plugs,wires,injectors,did a compression test(all cylinders within 5-10percent of each other)has one cel-multiple misfires.it has a noise that sounds like it's in the valve train(actually sounds like spark knock)noise stops when car is idling good.i've thought of coil packs but doesn't that cause another cel?any help would be appreciated.

Mine kinda does that sometimes, but theres no cel's or anything but kinda like i need to give it a tune up. It also has 140,xxx miles. Oh its a 2.4l

i just changed the plugs in mine, looks almost like the stockers or had ALOT of time. Its buring pretty clean tho.

You should try Seafoaming it. Stuff works wonders.
