ok i kno that the topic has came up alot.. but how hard is it to swap a 96 2200 or 2.2 for the 2.2 eco.. and how much price wise am i looking at paying?it has an 5 spd isuzu tranny

correct me if im wrong but the eco needs the getrag tranny

Easiest way is to get a donor car(03-05 5-speed cavy) and swap everything over. Basically a 03-05 cavy in a 95-99 shell. And yes it does require the getrag tranny.

^^exactly. you're looking at the engine, trans, all mounts, all electronics (i do mean all), the fuel tank, the evap system, evey single piece from the donor car except the body.
