Hey everybody. I've been reading this site for awhile now and finally figured i'd make myself known. My name's Bo and i live in Pa about an hour and half north of philly in a smaller city called Reading. Or little Philly as it has been called before. I purchased my '97 Cavalier Z24 in '03 while stationed in California for four years. Since i was handed the keys, i couldn't stop wrenching on it. First came the AEM "hot air" intake. Then wheels, shaved emblems and that's when the performance bug really hit. Being I bought the car for under 5 Grand, i didn't really much care that it wasn't a five speed. So now i just work with what i got, an auto. On the way is a B&m Shiftplus to compensate along with urethane mounts. I did the o86 head on the 2.4l block(hybrid) about 8 months ago but the motor only lasted a day. The exhaust cam sprocket bolt ended up backing its way out somehow and caused the sprocket to slip right off the end of the cam causing six of the exhaust valves to not close in time before sucking face with 1,3,&4 pistons. So a rebuild is under way with the "secret cams" taking their rightful place on top. So there's my story and sorry for lurking on this site for so long. this was long over due!

yea pj has one (skwirl) check out the northeast region forum. he is part of jersey js. good bunch of guys, i met most of them before. pj knows his @!#$ too.
