So my intake is all installed, and it's working fine, only it's very close to my battery terminals. Is there any place I can get something to put on them? A cap or something? I'm thinking Autozone, but what am I looking for?

Also, this little skirt thing I've got hanging off of my rear lip is kind of bugging me. It's got a hitch cutout (for what?), and it's drooping a little bit. It's just a bolt on thing, so I could just take it right off, but does anybody have any shots of their car without it? Thanks.

if you go to the junkyard, there might be a chance you fing some cover pieces for the battery terminals.

do you have a hitch under your car??
do you just not want the rear lip?

Thanks, I'll have to stop by a few local ones to see if I can find any, I haven't had any problems yet, but all I need is one nice bump to fry something...

Also, I don't believe I have a hitch under my car, unless I've missed it the numerous times I've been under there. The thing is, if I could get that hole for the hitch covered up, I wouldn't mind it, but I don't know how to get rid of that. If I can't get rid of that hole, I'd rather just have the lip come off.

I know I could also just tape up the part thats sagging a bit, but that seems kind of ghetto, I thought there would be a better way. I want to start treating this car right, because the previous owners didn't.

Also, today just for @!#$s and giggles, I went to take off the rear lip, and it's not just taped, I think it's got some sort of foam or glue in there too. Maybe I'll just pay somebody to remove it if I can't get that hole filled in.

hang on there man! there are clips holding that thing up there. you just have to pull them towards the car or away. not sure cuz i haven't worked on a 00-02 in a while. but still, you CAN do it yourself. that's what you can do is get a couple from the dealership cuz they are harder to find at the junkyard. but fixable. keep the lip on there and just cover the hole with a decal bowtie the same size til you can get it filled in.

if you do want to get rid of the lip though. pm me and i'd probably get it from ya.

Yeah, I know about the clips, but there also seems to be some sort of foam holding it onto the bumper. It wasn't just tape, it was something else in there.
