installing air intake

I was wondering how i'm suppose to take the O2 sensor out of the stock intake to swap in a new intake. I have an 2002 sunfire. I'm afraid to like pry it out cause i don't know if it'll damage it or not. It's kinda tight too.

It should first unclick from the actual reader thats in the tube. Then you can just pry it out. It shouldnt break.

There is no O2 sensor in the intake. Its an IAT, or incomming air temp sensor.

First onclip the sensor from its harness, it has a liitle clip you can pry up to pull off. then pull the actual sensor head out of the intake.

That can be taken in many different ways lol

Andy, like everyone said, it's simple to pull the IAT sensor out. I can't imagine you breaking it unless you seriously just tried rippin it out or something.
