Is there an "official" pronunciation for that engine name? Is it an "eek" or an "eck"?

i say eekotek, but some people are different, i don't think there is an official way to say it

this has been discussed at great length, and was decided on "echo-tech".
Everyone at my dealership calls it an echo tec. But that doesn't mean we're right.

i like to call it Eeek-o-tek.....always said it that way so echo sounds funny and i stick with Eeek-o.

but has anyone ever typed ecotec into the speach program thing on ur computer?..i know windows XP has it bc thats hwta i have and i dunno about the older systems. it dont sound like anything we say lol. i typed it "eco tec" and it said it as Echo-tec. then typed in Eecoted it came out as Ee-co-tec. so basically if i put it in as Ecotec it come out as E-cot-ec...sounds completely different then anyone says lol. microsoft speach program would never lie. heh
