Quiet muffler

Hey, 96 2.2 here. I'm getting sick of my loud exhuast. I've got the 2.2, and it's aging poorly, so performance isn't TOO much of a concern. Can someone reccomend a quiet muffler to replace my straight through.

My friend has the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler , and it sounds kinda deep when he gets on it , and it has a nice hum while driving.

Also , get a 18-20'' resonator ( Summit has them for like $20 shipped ) they work wonders on keeping the tone down.

Goodluck!

I've already got a resonator under there and it's just not quiet enough. I'm looking for something almost stock-sounding.

It's going to be very hard to get a stock sounding exhaust system with bigger piping than stock. I see you have resonators already so your last choices are:

1. An oval style Borla or Magnaflow muffler
2. If performance isn't really that much on your mind, put your stock muffler back on and weld a tip on it.

Those are my suggestions. Good Luck.

might have to use the stock one, but I'll look into those oval style borla and magnaflow.

Thanks.

the stock one will not lower the Hp that much. 2-3hp.

Borla, magnaflow, dynomax will all be loud (cabin resonance), even with resonator.
Go with a stock muffler. If you just like loud, go with the ones mentioned.
