i have a 01 sunfire with the 2200 motor . i plan on goin all motor ... but i was just curious if there turbo kits were good ? if i get it i will be getting the stage 3 kit for my car . but if i can only gain 80 hp like it says i think i will just go with all motor cause i'm sure i can get around 200 hp with 2500 dollars ... ( my friend owns a performance machine shop .) .. and he said i can get bout 170 hp out of my car with a stage 2 cam from jbp and the works ... p&p head .. up the compression to 11:1 ... upgrade valvetrain and bore it 20 over maybe 40 . so i dunno i think all motor would be safer in a way then goin turbo ... what yall think ??

i would first do "the works" all of it, build up the bottom and top end, and then throw on that turbo and you will see some great results

yeah i think that would be the best way to go too ... i gonna go out and look for a spare 2200 motor that i can fix up so i can still drive my sunfire and then one weekend when i'm ready bam do the swap and there u go .... first step look for a spare 2200 engine and tranny ... i gonna beef up the tranny too while i'm at it .. i gonan stay auto so when i race people i can say ha u got beat by an auto .. cause for some reason people round here think if it not a 5 speed it not worth anything .. i'll prove them wrong
