Well, To start, Its great to be back at the Org. I can't remember the last time i posted, Or even browsed the site. Its good to be back =D
But anyway, On to the point. I have made plans to do something i'm not sure anyone has done before........After purchase of pipe, elbows, and a relocation of the battery. I have decided to make an affordable forced induction. Using a 12-volt convertor, and a switch, I have made plans to connect a leaf blower to my car =D
With proper installation, a flapper will be placed on the inside of a Y Pipe, allowing my cold air intake to still be functional with blower is not engadged, and simply use the blower with the switch is hit. Removed handles, and uneeded blastic covering, Bolding to frame, I really think this will work =D.........Only downfall i'm seeing is, The throttle body would have to be wide open, in order for the blower to work, to prevent back preasure, Which honestly, Brought another idea to my attention. A voltage control knob, Or a " Power Control " switch. As throttle increases, more power will be fed, which should hopefully control the ammount of air the blower pushes out

This is no different then an electric supercharger, same garbage.
A> When you are using your leaf blower, you will have no filter between the leaf blower and your engine, so when stuff falls off from you not using the leaf blower for its intended purpose, you begin burning leaf blower peaices.
B> Your stock engine can already move much more air then a leaf blower, the leaf blower will only be effective til about 1500 RPM or so, at which point the vacuum created by ur engine will be greater then the push created by ur leaf blower.
C> The downstide of a turbo is backpressure, the downside of a supercharcher is loss of HP, the downside of and electric supercharger (leaf blower) is power. You will be drawing an extremly signicant amount of power to run this thing.

Honestly...he stated he hadn't been here in a while. Also I believe he honestly thought it would do some kind of good. Obviously he's not alone, since there's still plenty of people around that buy the eBay blower fans and exhaust whistles.
