Still around been very busy with the house family and life. I have to give credit to a friend to get me motivated again to get her running. This is going to be a very big project. There was much debate to build a hybrid but i think the plan is to use the cobalt ecu and run my turbo. I have been doing a lot of research for this but I know I have a lot left to figure out. Any pros feel free to chime in. Any help is appreciated.

It would be a great idea to run all the cobalt wiring in the cav as youd get a much better pcm. But for most people the stock pcm with a trigger wheel would work just fine.

I debated a long time on that and I figured I would do the complete swap for the better pcm, and I may eventually try the e67 ecm swap to get an even better ecm. First thing on the agenda is to get the wiring out of the cobalt I am getting closer to having it out. The back wiring is all out and most of the dash wiring has been pulled. I have a lot of the engine wiring disconnected too. After the swap is done I am going to run it with the supercharger for a little bit to make sure everything is functioning properly then the turbo swap will take place and tuning. Have a lot left to learn about tuning and still have to buy HPT but I have some time before I get to that point.

Sub'd. If you're going to rewire the whole car anyway I wouldn't waste time on the p12. Just go straight to the e67 and have an awesome pcm for your application. Have to admit, I'm extremely jealous!

I just havent read up enough on the swap yet. And i wanted to make sure everything functions properly before i start modifying anything. As far as i have found parts of this build has not done in a cav. I am exploring other forums that people have swapped the lsj into other cars to figure out some of my unknowns

Just a small update the wiring harness is completely pulled out of the cobalt. Just have a couple things to pull out for a secret project. Not sure if its going to work or not but want to get everything pulled before it goes to the junk yard. Next step start stripping the cavalier down will post some uodate pics when that starts to take place

There is one of my issues i i have a racetronix pump already i am hoping i can still use that pump. I will be using a return style fuel system also

Pretty sure youll be able to use the stock tank and the racetronix. But itll be good to have the extra parts just in case

Looking at this I would say using your factory fuel tank and pump is not a problem.

Subframe is finally out. This has been what has put the gtc on hold for almost 2 years. I broke two bolts that go to the frame and i finally got her free

Kind of destroyed it a bit but was worth it. Now just need to find a new one

You want an OTTP P&P Dual pass intake manifold for this? I thought I'd use it on another Delta or J but it's been sitting for years. $250 shipped

Every time I see an update on this thread it makes me extremely jealous knowing that you'll have a controller that isn't a p11.
