Looking good. Make sure you sand off the powdercoat on the knuckles where the hubs and caliper brackets bolt to. You want those to be true to the factory machining.

Lookinf forward to this...like that it will all practically be done at once. no need to take it apart multiple times

I would REALLY like that transmission plug and wires, from the 3800 auto harness, when you get rid of it. With some long wires....

that's gonna be a blast to drive when it's done.

I tried to PM you back about parts, but there is something funky going on with the system. All messages are showing up blank. Shoot me an email with what you're interested in and I'll get back to you.

No real big updates lol dropped off some more stuff to be powder coated. Next step is ordering a flywheel to have machined and then begins engine tear down. Going to rebuild the motor over winter so spring time it\'s fresh and clean

What kind of rebuild are you planning to do to the motor? FWIW, leave the bottom end alone. Just replace all gaskets (especiually lower intake), lifters, valve seals, etc.

Reason being, a full rebuild on 3800\'s don\'t last long, not many have had good luck with it.

Oh, and good luck!! 3800\'s are a blast to drive inside of a jbody!

I\'m freshing up the motor, nothing crazy for the bottom end. Top end tho is another story - have a set of valve springs, need to order my cam, port and polish the heads and intake manifold.
Will update as progress contines, completion goal is end of April / beginning of
May

Sounds great, I currently have the VS cam and love it, great top end power. I currently rev to 62/6300. Upgraded LS springs. Home port and polish, makes a big difference. I left the supercharger alone but I am using the GenV.
