im going with ew + lazy for not pulling the 4 bolts to take the hood off and paint it somewhere else. part of the ew is that it wasnt always the stick on scoop being stuck on, sometimes is the design of them, and those are gross.

sorry man, i dont like it at all.

Stick on or not. Those look way out of place on a J.

Not in love with the Black hood, CF is one thing but since it isn't I would have used the body color. But only my opinion.....

After you shut it a few times, It will crack right off.

I would have had the bent left front rim repaired first.

Why does a 2.2 OHV car need hood mods, it runs high 17's right?

My opinion: Stop the mods. Save your money for an eco car, save this car for winter use.

its not perfect, but it looks better than before, it will have to be touched up when he gets the car painted which i believe hes doing in the spring, which is another reason we just painted it black

Where to start here? Rims are getting repair this winter, haven't bothered because they need tires. They don't look like actual produced hoods for the car, oh well. Its only black because it was cheaper to buy than color matched paint by $10, and the car is being repainted next year anyway, so I didn't really care. Its a 2200, whats your point? And they actually don't look too bad on the car in person, but that's just my opinion. I might change my mind and buy something come spring, but for now, that's what I have. If you don't like em, that's ok with me. Anyway, here are a few daytime pictures

No fiberglassing? Cracks will start to appear soon.

Re: Colt45's "new" hood

I'm not worried about it cracking right now. Its only a temporary job until later on. It was more of a cheap trial run to see how it would turn out.

Haters. But let's be honest your car looks really good and that looks like a cheap scoop. Good job on work I think you need fiberglass though. Next time try to make your own design that compliments the body. Hopefully it works out for you! Good luck!!

Already have the fiberglass for next time. If I get good enough, then I'm definitely going to try to make a design.
