just removed side molding today, workin on gettin stupid adhesive off
nvm the dirt foor...
stupid adhesive
not as un-even as they look, just the way the light is. gunna make them darker i think and paint or remove emblems

night shade stuff from canadian tire, 12 bucks a can. was a good buy i like it alot
yours look good, do cops bother you at all? i want mine darker like that but i dont wanna heat out my car to to much
yea i bought mine from oriellys for the same price, and no i havnt had the first hiccup from a cop..i plan on painting that whole back peice
did u clear them after? ive herd some people say that they dont look as good without clear on them.. but i think mine look fine, theyre nice and glossy, i only did 2 coats on them
I got a friend who used VHC, and charges like $20 a set. I'm gonna have him do mine, but tape off the reverse portion so it's tint/clear. then have him run a buffer over it to give it a glass look
nice start on the car. good choice in removing the moldings.. and yes, the adhesive is a total pain in the ass lol

20 bucks is still not bad, doing it urself is only like 12 but still, ide pay 20 for it. in my eyes its definatly worth it. i think i might do the same when i re-do mine, tape off the reverse lite and buff it good, mine are pretty glossy but i know could be alot better.
moldings look dumb, i dunno why they even put them on there. yeah that adhesive is pretty crazy man when i pealed the passenger sige molding off it took off a good 2.4-3 inch strip of paint
good thing im gettin it painted in the near future so its not to big of a deal but still. stupid stuff. i wanna do hood pins soon before i get it air brushed

i didnt even clear mine i sprayed 3 coats like the can said and thats how it looked..lol i did my corner lights too
when i re-ro mine im gunna do my corners as well, i dont know why i didnt do them the first time, gunna either paint my eblems black as well or just completely remove them.. havent decided yet
i did three coats on mine and its not dark at all. i actually went to pull a part and bought another set of lights and a center piece, because i plan on doing the center piece when i make a second attempt at it
yea im goin to do mine when i get bored enough to go tape it off..lol
Hey im just curious but i see u have a exaust, why not go ahead and get a intake

just did it quick, seen an ad on my facebook pop up of a friend sellin that muffler for 30 buck so i just bought it and threw it on cause the stock muffler was done. it sounded like poo. lol and its only a muffler, not full exhaust lol soon tho after i do my Z bummper swap im gunna start a bit more on the performance side
oh ok..lol i saw the pics with the hood open and saw u still had the massive airbox still in so i figured id ask, and dont worry as u can see im rollin with a fart can too..i know people say they hate the sound and i should go buy some expensive muffler but i love the way mine sounds..lol i want people to hear me coming.....btw i want some opinions...should i paint the 2 clear back up lights or tape them off..im goin to be painting the whole back peice
airbox is gone? its just the stock hose/pipe thing with a filter on the end haha looks so gay. i like the way mine sounds to, its just kinda "popy" but someone told me to delete resonator and put in a 18' glass pack and itll sound way better and give it a bit deeper tone, but yeah i get that all the time " go buy a real muffler" and ppl tellin me to go get like a full megan exhaust. but ide rather do other @!#$ to my car first before i spend like 900 bucks on the exhaust.
i dunno man, im kinda debateing the same thing, i was thinkin about just goin to pick n pull and gettin some new lights for a few bucks n trying both ways. i think it would look better to tape them off and keep the clears on urs then it would on mine tho
Nice start on the car. The moulding strips are a PITA to remove, but I actually have a really easy way to get them off, and it costs like 10-15 bucks. If you have a body/paint store around you, go to it and ask for a Eraser Wheel. It goes onto a drill and it litereally erases the adhesive away. Works great, doesnt hurt the paint, and takes like 15 mins to do at most. Then after your done, just throw some wax over the spots you used the wheel on, and done. All I would do or say to be extra careful is make sure your car is clean and free of rocks and dirt since this wheel is rotating and it is the rubber eraser material thats on the end of a pencil, since if anything gets onto that wheel it will scratch your paint. But other then that is very simple and fast, and you will still have ample amount of that wheel left if you plan on removing the emblems also. Good start on the car, I like the tails too. Goodluck!!

i think i might go grab one of those eraser wheels for when i take off my emblems, thanks man that makes life siiiimple haha that adhesive is a bit of a bitch... thanks im stoked on it, just the lights and the muffler make it so much better then stock. next thing im doin is z24 bumper swap and bmx side skirts and like a 2' drop
and then paint then its onto the performance stage.. which im guna rely on these forums for! im no mechanic but ill get @!#$ doone with a little bit of time and patience
those side skirts dont go well with stock bumpers.
