Im just looking for pics of pcm relocates, like where are we relocating them to and how?
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.
Thats where I moved mine to.
^^^^Mine is in the same location^^^^^
its an old concept. time for something new to take the reigns. - Z yaaaa
^^^^ i did that one

so i take it the amount of water that gets there isnt an issue? do you have a pic of the wiring harness where it goes in there?

I dont have a picture, but i ran it through the rubber grommet, leading to the wiper cowl compartment, on the firewall.
same..its a bit of a pain to get through but you can do it. As for water..a non issue. The cowel isnt open there.
very cool. i love the immense knowledge on this site and those who are willing to help, thanx to all!!!!

thats right where mine was put.
easily the best mod in cleaning up the engine bay
Mines in front of the center console as well.. Bit of a tight fit with the connectors but with a little friendly persuasion I got it in there.
Haven't had any problems since I installed it there
Here was my advice on that thread that EcoCav made to another guy trying to do the same mod.
Quote:
The hardest parts (for me anyway), were actually getting the wiper motor cover out (the black plastic cover near your windshield) and taking the windshield wiper arms off.
For the wiper motor cover, once you take the little push pins out, you kind of have to finesse the cover to get the cover to come off. The black weather seal around the front windshield prevents it from coming, so you need to keep trying from different angles. You have to bend the plastic a bit on the wiper motor cover, but not too much - it's just plastic and I'd hate to see you snap it.
The wiper arms were also a nuisance, but I didn't know how to do it so that was my only problem. After unbolting them, you need to push down on the arm towards the window, you should be able to feel it springing down at the joint. Without pushing down here, you could pull until you're blue in the face but the wiper arm just will not come. You need to push the arm down with your left hand, and then at the same time use your right hand hand to pull the entire wiper straight up at the spindle.
Just trust me, it all sounds complicated in text, but once you get started it's cake
You Eco guys have it easy to relocate the pcm. Us 95-99 LD9 guys have it hard, our computer is located under the passenger headlight right by the horn.

And these simple things make the start of a sexy engine bay.

I'm lazy, that's ONE of MY excuses for not relocating...
Reason TWO... Its already hidden behind a fender and headlight.
THREE... I have a space ECU... might relocate when I need to use the spare one day...
I've gotta ask...what is the point of this? Is it just cleaner engine bay? that tiny little square made a difference? before and after pics?
