Hey everyone! This is my first time posting, but ive enjoyed this website since I bought my sunfrire and have found some great info and pics on here! You all have great cars and I am very envious! Anyways... Ive done some searching on here and the internet for pics of jbodys with an angled muffler and have not had much luck in finding anything. I apologise if their is already a thread on here about this, Ive noticed some get frustrated when somthing comes up on here thats already been written about. So if it their is a thread could someone give me a link?
For awhile now Ive been wanting a angled muffler exhaust on my car since my exhaust set up now is shot. Im hoping that this will help keep the muffler from getting scraped as my car is lowered and the roads where i go to school at are bad and on a mountain. Plus I like the look of it and think this would be uniqe on a jbody.
If you guys have cars with this, have pictures or any info, ideas or opinions I would love to see or hear them!
i love the look. i say go for it.
the j-body axle is going to make it more form>function but oh well, it'll look killer.

Ha, mine was angled for a while after it was in the ditch. That was soon fixed.
Could look good on a Sunfire. Depends on the muffler, and how angled.

IF it's done right, It can look awesome.
This is Anthony's old car. I can't find a straight-on pic, But it's got the Rex angle.
agreed. idk why but i love the way that looks! i should think its gay but i dont! LOL

I had an angled muffler.... on my SS...... lol. (ARK N2 Catback). A lil ricey, lol, but it's a 900$ exhaust I got for free from a friend. lol. Couldn't pass it up.
Full 3" exhaust to a 3" Skunk2;
very slight angle on the muffler (kicked towards the left)
only problem is that its hard to do with the LS or Z bumpers because of the cut out, you almost have to use a base bumper or aftermarket

Bah your not trying hard enough Phil. I was going to do mine kicked out but decided not to. It was actually pretty close to what Anthony ended up with but I had the 01 bumpers and lips.

Dey see me Trollin' Dey hatin' for trollin dey trying to catch me ridin dirty.
it makes sense on a wrx where you get rid of alot of bends in the exhaust by angling the exhaust. spool is much quicker on my wrx with the angle (hks hipower II) vs. the non-angled (apexi worldsport II)
on a cavalier though, it'd be form over function.

Im thinking about going with a Apexi N1 or Greddy Ti-C. My friend has the Ti-C on his sentra spec v, looks and sounds great! I just wanted to do somthing that would be a lil
different on a j body especially a sunfire. I realise its kinda pointless preformace wise but im hoping it will keep from getting scraped up so much like the the mufflers I have now.
im just wondering how much this is going to cost to get fabricated, if its to much im not gonna waste my time.

And cavaliers aren't gay to begin with?
3" on a turbo car FTW. 6.25" long single chamber muffler doesnt do much. I hope to one day use that set up again.
This is mine. Sorry the cars durty lol
