Got 'Um On

Here's a couple quick pics of the wheels finally installed. They are wrapped in Maxxis MA-71 Victra Tires. Springs are in the mail, so No 4x4 comments guys. I got it covered. Also have an appointment for tint in a couple weeks.

I would like an opinion though. Any thoughts on putting on black lug nuts instead of the chrome to lessen up the chrome a little and help make the carbon fiber centers stand out a bit more? I'm undecided on it.

More pics after I detail, wax, shine and other wise wash her up.

i wish i had that back bumper lol but its nice and clean looking i would personally debadge it, and maybe take the side mouldings off...and then the already stated tint and lowering kit

^^ I kinda like the side moldings on the doors. If I debage, it would only be the cavalier ls on the trunk, and still undecided on that as well.

As for the bumper, there is something to be said about the LS sport... Sexy could be the right word.

And yes, lowering and tint is in the works.

Yea the side mouldings are ok on that style and the LS sport rear is just sexy lol i'm still debating whether to get an LS sport bumper of just a 03+ cavy bumper then get the rk sport lip kit still so undecided
but your car looks nice i love silver but then again i'm biased

if you're putting lowering springs on stock struts, you don't have it "covered"

wheels aren't my style but overall, the car looks pretty good. just don't cheap out on your suspension. do it right.

Don't worry. This isn't my first J body.... Last one had Ground control coil overs on KYB GR-2's (Yes I know not for lowing, but the price was right for all 4).

For now I'm going to drop on the stock struts (I thought I found a decent deal on a set of used spring, but they were sold - Just found out like 3 hours ago, bastard), In about Mid July I'll either have Koni Red's or KYB AGX's. After that, she's getting ground controls just like my old GT. From there I'm doing the energy suspension bushing kit, front and rear sway bars, and strut bars.
No worries dude, I don't half ass things. I'm not that guy.

Yes I know the chrome is blingy, but I don't care. I like them.

You do know that not only is dropping on stock struts bad for the struts (it's like carrying a really fat person on a skinny guy's back) but it can be dangerous too. The shocks/struts don't work with the lowering spring, so say you're going around a corner and hit a bump, you will be more likely to bounce off the road than a performance oriented strut/shock that has the ability to work with the stiffer spring and can handle the lower stance correctly as well.. They will work together to keep the vehicle in control compareds to the combination you get with a stock, non performance strut/spring, paired with a stiffer lowering spring.
