what numbers do you plan to get with the setup?
It's not really a "teaser" when you show everything that is being put in.

I've heard that one before. As soon as its in, you'll want more.
Bye bye engine :p
M62, 42's, ZZP 3", ZZP S3 H/E

x3 on Bye bye engine! Trust me! lol Blew two Eco's with exactly the stuff in your picture.
just curious as to why you think you need spray on top of turbo?
just curious but why would u get a turbo with an internal wastegate.
if it can't win a race it better win a show
im curious about all the curiousity
I hope you have more than just a turbo and intercooler to think your turbo setup is done!
And whats wrong with nitrous on top of boost??? I did it with no problems, guess its just an ld9 thing
but i want to know why he thinks he needs nitrous with the turbo.
because 2 power adders > 1 power adder?

Nitrous is like wanting to have sex with a hot chick that has an STD... you wanna hit it,
but you are afraid of the consequences
most people use it to spool the turbo, but odds are he wont need it to spool the turbo.
Internal wg save loads of space, wish my borg warner had internal gate.
Hey Guys,
Well to be completely honest the nitrous kit was bought before I seen the turbo setup was for sale,
it just so happens that the nitrous came in the same day I got to pick up the turbo.
Internal waste gate issue, it will be addressed later as I want to pick up a name brand t3/t4 hybrid (this is ge_force22's old setup)
and use a separate waste gate
And yes I have more than just the Turbo and Intercooler, I also have the turbo manifold, bov, BEGi 2025 (still not really sure if I should keep it
or sell it... what do you guys think), all the tubing, down pipe, and I think just a few other odds and ends. Not bad though for 500 bucks
What im trying to figure out now is:
1. What to do with my nitrous kit (I was planning on getting a bottle heater and purge before I saw the turbo setup)
2. What size of injectors I should run (Ideas and part numbers would be awesome)
3. Tune... I can get a GM SC tune through my mechanic for a hundred bucks but I would like to have your guys' input on what to do
4. What to do with my BEGi 2025 unit
Any input would be awesome!

So this is an ld9? To answer some questions for you..
1. Sell the nitrous and buy injectors, youll max out the turbo setup before youd even want it.
2. For a simple setup 440cc injectors are good, ford greentops are what Im currently running on my daily driven 10psi setup.
3. Sc flash is good starting point since it can be modified with hpt, but unless you can control the fuel at idle or set an injector constant with hpt youd have to use 310cc injectors that the flash is set up for.
4. Some use an fmu as a crutch with their tune, Id keep it if you only plan to run the sc flash until you can get a decent tune.
5. Wideband.
6. Wideband..
7. Wideband...
Seriously though get a wideband if you dont have one. Ive seen too many people just boost their cars and enjoy the hell out of it then blow it up soon after.
He has a Ecotec.
I would sell the nitrous kit. Find someone who can tune with HPT for you and have fun.
FU Tuning
Do not run the GM Reflash, it is pure junk. My car has never idled right since the dealer reflashed it and it also decides to cut power and start back firing randomly while driving. Taking a @!#$ and wiping it on your ECU is better than it.
FMU + HPT is the only way to go.
550 bucks for a gm performance supercharger setup minus tune and belt... yeah I bought it today LOL
This is more of a just in the mean time way of going fast (sc kit)

I think you should figure out what you want to do rather than buy anything and everything go-fast related...
Nice pile of parts though!

agreed,
ty, as when we have talked, shouldve just chose to go the turbo route, saved the $ to buy the nitrous to buy injectors, and then that $550 for the supercharger which still needs more parts than just the s/c itself like tb adaptor and other misc odds and ends. that $550 wouldve been rods or even pistons to build the bottom end a bit.
Haha okay guys, the supercharger just needed a belt (I got a box full of parts that came with the blower and the turbo that you guys havent seen) and its going in on sunday in the mean time.
As for the nitrous, it was bought long before the turbo kit was bought. It just so happens that the turbo kit was posted up on kijiji two days before my nitrous kit came in and I picked up both on that friday.
I will end up going the turbo route soon so no one worry about that, also the supercharger kit will be going up for sale in a month or two so long as I dont have any problems.
Although twin charging could be fun...
