Just joined the forums, 98 sunfire gt. Posted in the newbie thread with the same pics, maybe I can get some responses here too haha,
What it was
What it is
What I still need to do...
New front bumper
Lower it more
Different Rims maybe
Turbo+ other engine mods if possible.
Maybe get rid of the lambo doors
well first off shave your holes from the wing, looks like they are still there. and did you paint the key lock on the door? seeing something all one color is nice but it looks like you painted all the moullding around the windows as well and seeing it like that makes it look like it was a cheap spray everything on the car kinda paintjob. hard to tell the quality though from the pics posted. i'd like to see more pics of it, maybe the motor and interior and trunk etc. some more angles to really see whats going on. wheels don't look bad. just dont think they really help make the car better. there just okay. looks like you have allot of time into it, just post up some more pics.

I would be inclined to comment if there were a few more pictures...
Front, interior, trunk etc...
more than just the driver side quarter panel shots.
That front end reminds me of the marshmallow man on ghost busters. lol
Yeah I definitely want to change it but I don't even know where to find front bumpers in my area
Is that Tiny's old car from JCO? Looks strangely like it.

dude, keep that front...Overall, I like it a lot. Lose those fake eyelids and replace them with real ones
Here is a quick photoshop
I definitely want real eyelids. Anyone know where I can get some for that? Or are they custom made? As you can see i'm pretty new to the whole Jbody seen and I happened to come across this website by chance (lucky me eh) but yeah, real eyelids would definitely look nicer. As for the front bumper, I would rather have the one that Cavie Freak has in the car in his sig, looks a lot cleaner to me. Also, what should I do with the door locks? blue I guess?
eyelids are custom, if you like that bumper look up the striker bumper for the 95-02 sunfires it's similar to it. as for the lock cyinders, if you go to the trouble of removing and painting them you might as well shave them along with the handles, it really compliments the sunfire's side to have a clean upper half to match the clean side mouldings. .... that dash must blind you on a sunny day lol
I recognized this Sunfire from
Car Domain as soon as I saw it. I'm not sure, but I think
this is his profile on here. Not exactly my taste, but it's not too bad. It looks like all the work is quality and not just thrown together half assed like a lot of Js.
I agree you should remove the white paint from the mirror sails (get stock mirrors and paint the outer part white, but leave the triangular part black), window trim and door pillars. It's WAY too much white. Color matched can be a good thing, but the white has been way overdone. I also agree you need to get rid of the stock spoiler and fill the holes from the aftermarket spoiler. And of course, real evil eyelids are a must.
Yeah, Chris was the owner on the Sunfire before me in the UVIP. Unfortunately, most of the inside is falling a part on me(today my driver side power window just stopped working but my passenger side is fine...), cracks which you can't really see, and the front of the doors on the body have been scraped to @!#$ because of people opening the doors wrong, which is why I want regular doors now. I guess this is why I got it so cheap I guess. I agree though, so much white on it, this is just a project car for me to work on though. Thanks for the suggestions and feedback guys, if there's anyone that wants to meet up in the GTA let me know i'm always down.
