Saddly there is an engine in there. Boost has been gone since 2007 I think. The suspension that used to be on the car is on my 98. I can assure you that missmatched struts/ springs and no sway bars makes things interesting when you are used to a car with a good suspension under it.

Good spot Joe. I dropped the truck to storage so I am now using the car to haul stuff around. Removing teh seat makes things so much easier.

I think it was established quite a while ago that I lost my mind.

I could have had them mounted white wall in but I just couldnt do that. I guess its just the old man in me coming out. The 14s are a nice old man tough as well.

It is missing stock Z24 fog lights, stock z24 wheels, and I think even stock z24 hieght. I know one thing it needs to be missing is those monster lights on the front!!

Fog lights dissapeared a long time ago. They were cracked and the mounting tabs were removed to make room for charge pipes.

Stock wheels are ugly, in storage, and will probably never make it back onto the car. The 14s are 13# factory wheels and I like them a hell of a lot better than the stock ones. If I ever want to I have several sets of 16s to choose from to put on the car.

As far as I know all models sat at the same height. The rear struts i think came off of an 04 LSS sedan, the front I have no idea.

Factory J car headlights blow. I do a lot of driving in rural areas with no street lights. I would prefer to see things before they are 20 feet in front of me. I thought about HIDs but then I would have to listen to people bitch about HIDs in factory housings.

The car has become a beater, kinda figured that was clear in the first post.

Used to look like this in 07??

Suspension from that car is currently in this car:

Also not quite sure why there is a picture of my cat in there. Oh well, he loves the camera when its on his terms.

that was tow three that year. Melted down a piston and chamber, ripped the center out of a Fidanza/Spec flywheel, and that time was a snapped axle inside the diff. That was my last trip to a track and I managed a no traction 14.5@108.92 on 10 PSI. Should have left it at 8 PSI and been content with an almost no traction 13.9@103.

When funds are available again I have every intention of building a 2.3 for the car, however after spending 9 months laid off last year and about two so far this year money has been very tight. I have had to sell parts ( I regret selling some of those items) left and right to cover bills that I have to pay and everytime I think I am caught back up something else comes along. For what the 02 will be used for in the near future, stock suspension and grandpa wheel will do just fine. Right now it doesnt even have a passenger seat due to needing the extra space for hauling things. Its cheaper to fix my Cav than it is to fix my 96 K1500 so I might as well save the truck for winter use.

When I am working again and I am back on my feet I will have a build for this car, untill then I have a 086 head, new crank, aluminum pulley, turbo manifold, and T3/TO4E turbo to just look at. I know I shouldnt do anothet turbo build but if the turbo and manifold dont sell, I dont have the funds to cover the badass header. That doesnt mean the turbo and manifold are officially for sale either.

Ona side note, this was my interior the last day at the track.

All that is missing right now is the passenger front seat.

Door panels are light and there is a nice piece of steel that sticks out and likes to slice arms. Plus I like to have an armrest for my left arm. All that was left was what you can see and a close out panel to keep some of the trunk noise down. The car was a tin can though. Maybe someday if it becomes the "race car" again it will be gutted again.
