Well nothings changed to much since the 08 bash which is the last anyone's really seen the thing. I never got it painted.... and I hit a deer, which explains the busted up front end. I was going to get the thing spruced up and painted last year but financial issues were kicking me in the ass and with everything else going on in my life at the time I got uninterested in even doing anything with it. I even contemplated selling it at one point.
But no folks.... 2010 is the year of rebirth to this neglected and beat up cavfire. I have been working diligently gathering up all new parts and planning out the cavfires new look. The paint job is scheduled for the first full week of may. I have a color in mind for it but I'm keeping it to myself at the moment.
On to its current condition as it sat tonight before I started stripping it down....
Yeah It's pretty rough at the moment... I have new fenders for it... The bumper is being reglassed and fixed up tomorrow... I have an RKSport ram air hood going on it also. The spoiler is being changed over to something completely different, and I'm going with a set of 03-05 LS Sport sideskirts. A custom set of projector headlamps are going to round it all off at the end
So thats where I'm at at the moment. Stay tuned for the next month or so for more updates as I get closer to paint time. Hell just might freeze over this year
Looks rough, glad to see its gettin' some lovin' this year.

Welcome back bro. I know what you mean by letting it set, mine is in the garage colecting dust cause of my cobalt SS but I have started gathering parts and going to take my time and rebuild the thing and drop in a new engine but I got my first child on the way so i'm going to use it as our project car I'm just going to colect parts and when the time comes put it all together. Good luck with everything Greg and hopfuly you can bring the meckster to the lonestar Bash here in Texas next year.
