Winter Wheels on & Ready for the Snow
Sunday, November 29, 2009 2:57 PM
Hey guys & gals, just wanted to take some pictures while the car is clean & before the snow arrives.

Got some winter wheels with tires from a Berretta (I think) for $75 from a guy around here. Painted them bronze, not sure how I feel about them though.

Lemme know what you guys think...

Thanks for looking!

reminds me of the turbo grand prix's rims! in a weird way, if lowered, i think they wouldn't be to bad.

Yah, I'm sorta on the fence about em still, I think they look good for winter wheels though. And no sense in lowering till after winter, this is the DD

its odd cuz these(Beretta) wheels are a 2 piece design and the cavi ones are a one piece wheel.

two piece design? is that TRUE? ive heard a rumor about these bad boys being lighter than crap....

ive yet to yank one off and weigh it. ive got two sets, the green ones and a set of the normal silver ones. i usually just use them as roller wheels for whatever car needs to move...

that's what I was thinkin would look great on this wheel. Even just the lip painted silver or the chrome paint

Neat!

God it was such a pain to clean between those spokes and stuff where they meet the lip. Too bad you can't remove the center of the two peice to clean it since it's welded.

And I actually was gonna do the black with polished lip but teh shiny is no more in alot of places around the lip so I just went with bronze.

welded aye? well that works LOL

im curious as to how much one weighs with a tire now....

a stock 95-99 rim with eagle rs-a tire weighs 36lbs. a stock 14" Calais quad 442 rim/tire weighs 34lbs. if it cant beat either one of those i think i just found my beginner set of drag rims!
