Did the ole' Rustoleum paintjob this time.. came out great! i couldnt be happier! Painting the bumpers and the sideskirts now, and painting the lip kit on them gloss black. Let me know what you think!

ohh, to get the matte/semi gloss look i mixed 2 quarts flat black, 1 quart gloss black, and 1 quart acetone

With that said, I like the new mods

you should shave your door locks while your at it.

i was honestly going to because i bought a power door lock kit, but what if that fails? then i'm up @!#$ creek. i once bought a shaved door handle kit from autoloc and that failed on me and ofcourse my hidden switch wouldnt work so i ended up busting out the driver side window. it was not fun. never again!

why not keep the trunk lock, and disable the rear seat latch, ditch the door locks and access the car that way if need be.

it is located in the trunk, like this... http://www.clubcav.com/showthread.php?t=8520

and the headlights are great, but the mounts had to be tweaked to fit properly. other than that they are great!

Are you going to paint the blue or have a shop do it? i can just imagine taking it to a shop and telling them you painted it with rustoleum and want them to spray it. id think they would want to sand it down to bare metal before they painted it which may raise your costs of a good paintjob considerably.

I would have just touched up the keyed areas and left it like that until the repaint. I can't imagine too many shops being enthusiastic about having to clean off rustoleum.
