The Z and the GF's firebird photoshoot (56k no..)
Monday, June 29, 2009 7:50 PM
I have wanted to do a shoot with both our cars since we did the suspension and wheels on hers, but things never lined up quite right. We went to a local show this weekend so both cars wre cleaned up. On to some of the pics (took a couple hundred total) questions and comments welcome.

People's reaction is usually interesting. Most people stop and arent sure what they are looking at, some have asked if it came that way. When pulling into shows they look behind to try see the V8 car that they hear.
I havent really said much about the performance factor because i have no real numbers to back up anything. It is still in need of tuning to get proper power out of it, so it hasnt made it to a dyno or the track. The car just sat the entire winter, spring and most of the summer so far while other projects (that are welll behind schedule) get finished. The plan is to get it properly plated and everything this week, and then do some tuning in the next few weeks- subject to change of course.

I find it comical that the car that should be powered by a V-8 isnt, but yet the cav is. You guy gotta fix that, lol...

sound clip. I want to hear this car. I don't think there is a video of it on the JCO either, or atleast not a recent one.

I'm still working on that. She daily drives it for the summer so there wont be any drastic changes other than lots of suspension work.

I have always taken that as a compliment, as well as people asking where the wiring is

Should have been at the JCO bash. I have yet to get a decent clip. Tried once last year but it didnt sound anywhere near the way it does in real life- plan to try again when we do the tuning.

I was on the fence with the headlights when i ordered them. I like the look now but am not impressed with the fitment- that will change when i redo the bodywork.

Nice cars, I really like the work you did except for one thing....

The 22's looks horribly out of place and look like they have a WEHEEEEEAK offset . Idd sell them and stick with 20's all around or better yet.. 19's. J's with 20's look like they're trying too hard.
