ressurected told me that this has been done but no pictures, i've searched and searched to no avail if anyone could help me out and hook me up with some pictures that would be great. thanks guys.

no doubt cavcelica your's looks kick a$$ i bow down to your glass work. i just wanna find somone that has a pic of the vert that was on here that had a widebody if not i guess im gonna go ahead with it over the winter.
DO iT. That would be the first one i've seen. But, do do just a premade widebody, Create your own style and flow.. Please keep me informed if you go though with this idea..
i will but my glassing skills are no where near up to par i'll most likely be doing the pre made one. it's still a wideboy then alter on may add onto that. but i don't wanna do too much i plan to drag it a few times just for the heck of it
two things, who cares if theres one other ver with a widebody, if yo want a widebody go for it.
but secondly and i highly cautuion you on this, if your fiberglassing skills arn't up to par. then you may just wind up with a bad looking car. even a premade one will require a good amount of fiberglassing ifyour going to mould it on (which you should) and bad fiberglassing will ruin a car even if it has good paint on top of it. so be warned.

thanx for the advice sndsgood i plan to do a lot of fiberglass work over the winter to get my skills up i'll take my time over the winter with it and i also have the help of a guy who in my opinion dose great work with fiberglass. i don't care about the other ones i jsut wanted to get some pictures of them i know they have nt been on here in the past 3-4 yrs cuz i've been on here since 00 bee nchaingin my name on and off and havent seen anything of the sort. or i might jsut have a bodyshop mount it for me either way it is getting done.
its been done before, but i dont have pics cause my old HD crashed.
so you def wouldnt be the first, but it would still be great to see another. go for it if you want to.

I have always wanted to make one but never had the funds for one. If you were to do this I would definatly look at either getting help or doing a LOT of research on fiberglassing. A good place for that is fiberglassforums.com read the topics and start with little stuff and work your way up to something big that has to do with bonding metal and fiberglass. Also you will want to use a good quality resin. An epoxy resin would hold up better for exterior pieces rather then polyester resin. But if you do not have the funds for a quality epoxy resin then the polyester resin from uscomposites.com would be a good choice to go with.
Just do some reading on fiberglass forums before you take on the project. They have a lot of GOOD and USEFUL information

im going along with it thanx for having my back guys. i'll kee pyou updated now off to make tons of $$$ so i can get al lthe supplies i need and i have read 90% of the forums on fiberglass forums i got the basic idea now jsut to get some practice in worst comes to worst my buddy is in good with a body shop so they can do the body work and hang the widebody for me. i'll jsut stick to the small interior panels and such.
