So I headed back to my photoshoot location and took some shots of my new addition. (3 years of waiting).

2 - 5 gallon tanks
2 - 450 viair compressors
diggy upgrade.
Air regulators and auto oiler still needs to be installed
and some rear fender trimming.

This winter is going to be interesting if the money is in the budget...

on with the pics. C&C as always welcome.

Enjoy!

Shawn and Darren... I'll be coming down soon for 3 some shots!! lol.

looks good but personally I'd worry about fixing what you have before adding to it.

Those headlights come in black don't they? I think they should be black instead of chrome...

I'm kinda iffy on tinted tails, but I think tinted tails and 3rd brake light might looks better, especially with black headlights...

f*cking sexy. Love the car. How high can the air ride go?

Also what wheels are those? Your registry doesnt seem to be updated. Those arent 18's.

The actual work on the headlight conversion and the pieces around allowing it to flow right looked great in person! I think it's a very well executed swap, which you don't see many of.

Air-ride just takes this car that much further. I also disagree on the black headlights, those flow amazingly well with the clean silver look the car gives off, and the wheels provide just the right contrast in my opinion.

Love the -camber in the fourth pic!

not sure im a fan of the rear bumper, proalby have to see it in person, and it does look like the paint is off. did they juat paint from the fenders forward or did they blend it? other then that i really like the look of the car. the headlight swap looks pretty good. only thing i think makes it look off is the way the line is from the fender and bumper, think if it was straighter instead of sloping back it look more like a stock type finish but it may not have been possible. definatly one of the cleaner swaps ive seen for our cars though.

thanks for the many comments on the headlight conversion and paint... and the few on the air ride set up. lol

Just to clear things up, since I've had to in the past... (no problem doing it)

Headlight conversion:
I couldnt mend the fender to the bumper with out creating a weak point, interference with the rims when it drops, same style fillet as a mazda 6, and access point to remove the front bumper for maintenance. The way it is, is the way it had to work. Id be interested to see Jeffs(bag'd fires) conversion when its done to get some pointers for next time (HA). Also, this was my first attempt at fiberglassing ANYTHING... and it took me 7 months (by myself) to do it. lol. So the conversion is a work of art in my eyes.

Paint:
I guess some people just dont realize that the F1 fenders are not inline with the body lines... they actually start to direct into the rim, which throws off the contrast of the lighting due to the reflection angle. The Car was painted in Full 08 Toyota Camry silver with added metallic. All the parts were painted in the same booth at the same time and then baked together. Im actually surprised that my 3.0MP camera actually did as well as it did.

Rims:
Yes they're 20's MSR 085's

Thanks for all the comments... I might as well let everyone know that my winter project will consist of:
Rear bumper change
Side skirts change
something along the rear quarters
Potential tail light conversion (pending)
Locks shaved
and a little something/something else.

I dont plan to tell anyone about my secrets in-order to keep me motivated.

Thanks again,

Matt

Oh and to add

Joe Schulte.. you are probably the most consistant person on here to keep people motivated on their projects... its nice to see a person give consistant constructive critisim when due... and praise when needed.

very rare personality on the boards now a days... and nice to see.

Matt
