well, after i got up this evening, i decided to take the drop top out for some scenic shots. since i live in the middle of nowhere, wv, i thought it would be appropriate to take pictures in the middle of nowhere also. half of our county is dirt roads like the ones in these pictures. its sad, really.

those of you who saw the car in person over the weekend realize that the car still needs some TLC, but most of that isnt noticeable in these pics gotta love that










and it just wouldnt be WV without playing in the creek (pronounced "crick" by we locals). and yes, people actually DO live out these back roads. its a good thing the creek was pretty low. one spot was touching my side skirt lol

i was originally planning on caulking the wagon and trying to float it across, but then i manned up and decided to ford the river instead. luckily no oxen were lost















but not every road in wv is intersected by a creek. sometimes we go over them too.

here is a close up of the hood though. i love how this turned out.

Don't think I woulda done the whole water thing. Bad experience w/ the blue car and hydro locking a motor. Is there clear coat on the car? Some pics it looks great others it looks kinda flat.

skunk: ive been through this road/creek a few times before. i know people who live out there lol so i knew it would be ok. but yes, there is clear on the car. just not enough on a few panels i painted (most specifically the DS quarter). plan is to put more clear on it, wetsand, and buff and hopefully itll match much better. the green matches perfectly, its just the clear thats not quite right.
