well I finally convinced my girlfriend to get an intake on her alero...the car sounds good when she revs it.

He is correct. I have only ever seen one 5 speed.
ive seen a dozen or so 5 speeds come in the shop... but there definitely very tough to find...
looks good... i bet it sounds even better...
If I found one I would buy it and go through the hassle of swapping out my motor again and put it in that alero and sell my original one.

So just go through the hassle of doing a tranny conversion instead. 
The REAL dumb thing IMO is that the GA's and Alero's were not available with the 3400 and a 5-speed.
GM is great for not offering manual transmissions IMO. It seems every other manufacturer offers manual tranny's in a lot more of their models compared to GM. I guess GM thinks that only women buy their cars!
