Well, time for my update.
There has been delay after delay after delay with this project...
Wiring harness isnt done yet (DEFINATELY not Brad from Double Z's fault though).
I finally got my intercooler Thursday and I picked it up from Dream Machines yesterday after John made tabs for me to mount it with.
So now that I got that stuff, I can finally do my charge pipes. All I need is a Camaro throttle body to completely do it.
Here are a few pics of the recent happenings.
I REALLY wasnt feeling the Falken FK452's that I got with my rims, plus they were 215's, and I didnt want that, so I replaced them with these.
Hankook Ventus RS 2, 225/45zr17.
Yes, thats Micah's car on the hoist in the backround.
Today I got to cutting and mounted something very sexy
Bumper on, I will need to trim a bit off of it, so its not mounted to the fenders.
You can see my new sideskirts in the last picture, I will put pics up later once I get them mounted.
I thought I was going to have to cut and modify my hood latch support with this intercooler, but luckily, it clears... just! lol
My new (to me)suspension, RK Sport pro street coilovers. These will definately be cleaned up before the car hits the road.
Got my Camaro flywheel back from the machine shop a couple weeks ago.
And an engine bay shot, just for the hell of it.
Hopefully, I will be updating this very soon.
C & C welcomed.
Love it Darren, that IC is huuuuuuuge behind that bumper.. I thought mine was big behind my IF front, but damnn haha.. Lookin good.

Oh, I know, its blown, I took it out of my neighbours regal a few months back. This is just being used for mockup. My real motor is sitting on an engine stand under a cover.

Oh, EVERYTHING is dirty right now, its the mockup stage. I wouldnt even THINK of leaving it like that when its done.
Oh thats gonna be F'n Trouble ..........
Another j gone wild
Nice work man ..... this is gonna be quite
the lil j that could......
Well Bruno and I were finally able to get some time where we were both free.
I couldnt do much because of my bad back, so I let Bruno do this part of the job
The hot side of the charge pipes is now fabbed up and tac welded. Once all the pipes are tac welded, I am getting them tig welded and powder coated along with the frame and mounts.
Here are the pics, I love the fact that the charge pipes are sooooo short
I decided to use 3 inch piping on the cold side from the MAF sensor to the throttle body. U can see in this pic the difference in size.
Picked up a complete 3 inch U-J bend.
More updates should be along soon....
holy crap that is freaking sweet buddy more updates more updates lol, I want a turbo
