- JE 8:1 pistons
- Eagle rods with ARP bolts
- ARP main bolts
- ARP head bolts
- Cometic 0.030 head Gasket
- Clevite bearings all around
- Jbody performance oil pump
- oil passages machined
- port & polished head with 5 angle valve job and 1mm over size SS valves
- Secret cam swap (i know i could have gone more but its a boosted engine, which doesn't benefit as much as a N/A would)
As well the supercharger was ported a few months ago and when i made the exhaust manifold i had the port holes made to match the gasket so they are slightly larger too

thank you. I wasn't sure how i would like the blue but now that its done i really like it. I painted some other parts the same and polished the timing case as well had a custom IDI cover made up from my friend and will be polishing most of it too (
by hand i might add which also SUCKS i might add lol)
The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
looks sick... keep us updated as you make progress...
ok, you are ordered to stop doing everything (eating, sleeping, working, etc) and work on that build!!! holy cow i cant wait to see this finished!!
new it was coming nice to see it's finaly here . 8-1 compression shes gun be pure boost all time.
nice.
lookn good, not feeling the ford blue, but too each his own.
oh man! Should be fun to come. I agree with the color but whatever!~
Good to see a built motor going under the rest of the insanity, should be just crazy!
Curious why you are running a JBP oil pump- i dont think i have ever heard anything good about it, and a 2.3 oil pump swap would free up some extra power. Other than that sounds like a great build with lots of potential

Now with northstar V8, IRS, 20's n 22's
thats asome i thought it was nice when i saw it this thing is going to be a beast.
sorry but...BLEH!
Nicely done, but I would have definitely chosen red, black, silver, or a navy blue.
I have to ask why you chose the blue?
-the navy blue because I just remember that your new J is silver.
paint it pink for all I care...just make it fast
I mean....if you're in the 11's...who's going to make fun of your engine?
i hope the head is at least silver...looks good though.
Egads! That looks like FORD blue!!! Dubya Tee Eff Mate?
Just kidding, those plans need 2.3 oil pump swap tacked onto the bottom.

On second glance it looks a lot like Pontiac blue too, so pardon my bs from earlier.
Looks aweosme, and the plans sound great, but IMO id do the 2.3 swap instead of Jbody performance oil pump. MOre oil = better in the LD9.

You have to be kidding!!! A good cam would benifit you 10 times more then a n/a car. I dont know why people think that, but a cam is a very essential part of a boosted cars build. Build peak boost faster, make more power, and hold your boost through more rpms. Some good cams would help spread your torque over more rpms, and give you much better throttle response. It will change your car, and even help reduce detonation! I vote for some different cams!

im running a supercharger thats feed by a turbo... i dont need the peak boost coming in any faster, in fact i dont think i could get it any faster.. 12psi @ 1500rpm as for throttle responce its pretty damn good too.. but im just going on what my old man was saying and i trust him as he has built many high end boosted cars
