Well, after one of my coilpacks took a dump on me after installing my new rims, I went and bought new ones, only to have a bad arching problem.........so rather than fix that.............I just went with something better

Yea they came with a 2.2 coil mounting plate, which perfectly fit on the two screws on my firewall where the cruise control should be mounted.
Only problem with where its mounted at is the heat from the header

The spot they are mounted at is temporary until I can make a better plate to mount where I want them to go. But for now, thats where they go.

It is very common for the coil tower to crack and start arcing spark causing a horrible misfire.

yeah i had that problem with the vert ended up getting a brand new tower and pack from a generous guy @ a local shop wich pulled a blown 2.4 out of a malibu (old lady's car) new tower coil and idi cover but car has never ran better funny thing is it's stays cooler also but i would love to do this set up rather than the coil tower and pack just makes it easier.
